Your Role and Contributions
- Platform Architecture & Automation. Design and develop internal platforms that streamline the software development lifecycle, focusing on scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Management. Leverage Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS (or other cloud providers) to build and maintain modular, secure, and cost-effective environments.
- Networking & Security. Implement networking best practices (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, subnetting, routing) and enforce robust security measures (firewalls, security groups) within cloud infrastructures.
- CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD, and continuously improve infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Container Orchestration & Observability. Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance. Implement observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing) to proactively optimize infrastructure.
- Developer Enablement & Collaboration. Provide self-service tooling and frameworks that empower developers, improve productivity, and reduce operational overhead. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to gather feedback, address challenges, and document best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP with hands-on experience in cloud services
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, subnetting, routing)
- Knowledge of firewall configurations and security group management in cloud environments
- Experience using CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI)
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
- Certifications like Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Docker Certified Associate (DCA)
- Security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP
